You can specify which type of field is represented by any space that is drawn on the form. The type of field is recognised by the Digital Pen and automatically records the correct type of information that has been written on the form.
The OpenForms design utilities allow you to specify:
the type of field
the option settings associated with the field.
First, select the type of field (and, where available, sub-field) you want the field to represent.
